Artist, painter, draughtsman, creator of installations. He has been involved in site-specific art for many years. He is a multimedia artist who is difficult to assign to one art direction. His early paintings are an expression of the Neue Wilde period, his earlier works bear the hallmarks of conceptual art, his other creative reflections concentrate on the problems of perception and optical phenomena, and his most recent realisations, which are situated in various spatial, painting and drawing relations. He introduces into his realisations other elements of the world of the senses besides sight: taste, smell, touch. In his “luminescent” works, he engages the audience with his own, unobvious sensations.
Author of numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. He runs the 10th Studio of Painting at the University of Arts in Poznań.
