Born in Tel Aviv in 1950, he lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel.
From metal mesh and wires, Ron Aloni sculpts organic forms, sometimes associated with the marine or astral universe. Weaving a web of wire, the artist creates forms that are both ephemeral and whose presence reflects a ‘brutally poetic’ force. He regularly collaborates with architects and decorators. His sculptures have colours both related to the very nature of the metallic material and fluorescent. They are mounted on walls, hung or simply placed on the ground.
